Over the past year, I’ve had the privilege of attending many events, ranging from moving commemorations to adrenaline-filled reenactments. Each time, as I put on my WWII combat uniform and stand among passionate owners and spectators, I’m reminded why I love this world so much.
It’s not just the powerful sound of engines roaring to life or the rhythmic clatter of tracks on pavement that stays with me. It’s the pride I see in the eyes of every owner who drives their piece of history with care and conviction. And just as powerful is the wonder on the faces of those watching, people of all ages, captivated by these machines that seem to speak, breathe, and remember.
There’s something truly special about these moments. They bring generations together around a shared respect for the past and a passion for keeping history alive; not just in a museum, but in motion.
As we head into the final hours of this auction, I feel that same sense of excitement. Soon, some of these remarkable vehicles will begin a new chapter, with new owners who will continue their story with pride.
