It was a great pleasure for us to welcome our Governor and King's Commissioner Emiel Roemer and his Board Advisor Hub Haenen on Tuesday, August 8 2023, to our workshop in Nederweert.
Earlier this year, Governor Roemer had already indicated at a meeting organized by the America Europe Friendship Association that he would like to visit BAIV and Tracks and Trade. What particularly appealed to the governor was the enormous openness, but above all, the passion and enthusiasm of both the management and all employees of BAIV and Tracks and Trade. The fact that the organization exports many vehicles overseas and especially to the United States of America was also an eye-opener for him.
In the context of the 80th anniversary of the Liberation of the province of Limburg in 2024, the Government is currently putting a lot of effort into 'renewed commemoration and celebration.' For this, Mrs. Jorine van der Steen has been appointed project leader on behalf of the cabinet.
